The main purpose of this website is to educate the community on those entities that are receiving grant money. When a foundation provides grant money to improve the quality of life in Phillips County, the money should be used accordingly. The amount of grant money generated in Phillips County is unbelievable. When the salaries make up the vast majority of the budget versus services offered, the agency needs to be questioned. This site is important to allow transparency and to ensure the non-profit agencies are using their donations within the guide lines they established in the Mission Statement to qualify for tax-exempt status.
