The Waldorf School/Helena Community Garden

I was recently referred to an article on the web regarding Helena Community Garden.  I did not know this was an impact project for Thrive.  Secondly, I did not realize they are renting spaces out to the residents of the community.  In  most communities that garden is a space that donates a small parcel of land to families or individuals who wish to plant an urban garden due to lack of space where they reside.  The garden receives grant money to provide this space and why would would they rent spaces out to the community.  I do not recall any notices being posted regarding this project nor how the gardens would be operated in the community.

I also find interesting that in this same article it speaks about the development of a Waldorf School in Helena.  Why do I have to read a blog to be informed about community development.  The business districts of Helena -West - Helena needs businesses in order to provide jobs to keep families here in Helena - West - Helena and keep our present schools operational.
